Kaohsiung: City Hotels and Accommodation

A true city of commerce and business, central Kaohsiung is situated approximately 9 km / 6 miles from Taiwan Kaohsiung International Airport (KHH). A spectacular city containing some of Taiwan's most impressive landmarks and high-rise hotels, Kaohsiung is the second-biggest city in the whole of Taiwan. Much of the city's main accommodation is located throughout the downtown district, in the historic Old City area, and lining areas of the waterfront.

Further accommodation can be found around the Lotus Lake area of Kaohsiung, which is famous for being home to the enormous and extremely elaborate Spring and Autumn Pavilions, together with the equally impressive Dragon and Tiger Pagodas. Hotels are also sited close to Shoushan (Longevity Mountain) - on the western side of Kaohsiung, home to a vast parkland and zoo, while additional hotels are known for their magnificent views of both Cheng Ching Lake and Hsitzu Bay.
